Troubleshooting

A document will not upload, or was read wrong

Symptom: the upload fails, the file appears but is empty, the summary is nonsense, or the app refuses to file the document where you want it.

"…object not found; presigned upload may have failed"

The app prepared a slot for the file, but the file itself never made it up. The usual causes:

  • The connection dropped mid-upload — common on a phone with one bar.
  • The file is very large. Photograph a page rather than scanning it at maximum quality.
  • The browser tab was closed before the upload finished.

Retry on a stable connection. If it happens repeatedly on the same file, the file is the problem — re-take the photo or re-export the PDF.

"Load documents require a loadId" / "Driver documents require a driverId"

You picked a document type that belongs to a load or a driver, but the upload is not attached to one. A POD has to belong to a load; a CDL has to belong to a driver.

Upload it from the load's or driver's own page, or change the document type.

"Linked load not found" / "Linked driver not found"

The load or driver was deleted, or you are in the wrong account. Check the account switcher in the top bar.

The document uploaded but the summary is empty or wrong

Documents are read after upload — text is extracted and summarized. It fails on the same things a person struggles with:

ProblemFix
Dark, blurry, or angled photoRe-take it flat, in good light.
Fax-quality scanRe-scan at a higher resolution.
Photo of a screenExport the PDF instead.
An unusual file typeConvert to PDF, JPG, or PNG.

Use Reprocess on the document to run the reading step again after you fix the file. Reprocessing the same bad scan will produce the same bad result.

The document itself is stored and downloadable regardless of whether it could be read. A failed summary never loses the file.

A POD is sitting at "Needs review"

That is by design. PODs are filed for review rather than accepted automatically, so a person confirms the signature before it goes to a broker or a factor. Open it, check the signature, and accept it.

"Only carrier documents can be sent as a broker packet"

A carrier packet is your company's setup paperwork — authority, insurance, W-9, notice of assignment. Load documents like a POD or a rate confirmation are not part of it. Send those from the load instead, using the load packet PDF.

"Attachments total ... MB; carrier packets are capped at 30 MB"

Send the largest document separately, or re-export it smaller. Phone photos of multi-page documents are usually the culprit.

The carrier packet reported it was not delivered

Sending requires an outbound email sender configured for your account. If the app says the send failed, it genuinely did not go — nothing was silently dropped. Contact support.

When to contact support

Send the document type, the file size and format, and the exact message the app showed. If it uploaded but read badly, say whether the file is legible when you open it yourself.
