Troubleshooting
Billing, trials, and features that stopped working
Symptom: a banner about your subscription, a card that will not go through, or automatic features that quietly stopped.
Where to look
Billing shows your current plan, your status, and the dates that matter. Everyone on the account can see it — a dispatcher needs to know when a payment has failed, even though they cannot fix it.
Only the account owner can change the plan or the payment method. Everyone else sees the page read-only, with the subscribe and manage-payment buttons marked owner-only.
What each status means
| Status | What it means | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Trialing | On trial, within the trial window. | Everything works. |
| Active | Paid and current. | Everything works. |
| Past due | A payment failed. You are inside a grace period. | Everything works, for now. Fix the card. |
| Unpaid | Grace period exhausted. | Automatic processing pauses. |
| Canceled | Subscription ended. | Automatic processing pauses. |
| Incomplete | Checkout was started but never finished. | Automatic processing pauses. |
| Incomplete expired | An unfinished checkout that timed out. | Start a new checkout. |
| Trial expired | The trial window closed with no subscription. | Automatic processing pauses. |
What "automatic processing pauses" actually means
The app does not lock you out. You can sign in, read everything, and keep working by hand.
What stops is the background work done on your behalf — call summaries, email syncing, scheduled check-ins, load board searches, the daily report, notification emails. See Nothing seems to be processing in the background.
Your data is not deleted. Resolving the billing status resumes processing.
Fixing a failed payment
Billing → Manage subscription opens the payment portal, where you can update the card, retry the payment, and download invoices. Most failures are an expired card or a bank block on a new merchant — a call to your bank often clears it.
Checkout will not start
| What you see | Meaning |
|---|---|
| "Unknown plan" or a plan that will not select | That plan is not available on your account. Contact support. |
| "Not yet configured" | The plan exists but is not set up for purchase yet. Contact support. |
| Checkout does not open at all | A payment provider outage or a configuration problem. Try again shortly, then contact support. |
After paying, the status has not updated
Payment confirmation arrives from the payment provider a moment after checkout. Refresh the Billing page after a minute.
If it still shows the old status ten minutes later, contact support with the date and time of the payment and the receipt from your card statement — do not pay twice.
The banner will not go away
The banner reads your live subscription status. If billing is settled and the banner persists, sign out and back in to refresh your session; if it survives that, it is a real mismatch worth reporting.
When to contact support
Send your company name, the status shown on the Billing page, and — for a payment problem — the date and the last four digits of the card. Never send a full card number, and nobody from support will ask for one.
